Background Information
I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Reading. I have been teaching here in Quinlan ISD for 24 years. I spent my first 3 years at D.C. Cannon as a Reading Specialist before moving to First Grade, where I taught for 14 years. I have had the privilege of teaching gifted students for 9 years in First Grade, and 7 years in the K-5 Elementary Gifted and Talented Pull-Out Program at D.C. Cannon and A.E. Butler. Teaching is my passion, and I absolutely LOVE what I do!
