Welcome
Hello! My name is Ms. Jewels. I am starting my fifth year of teaching Life Skills at Butler Intermediate. I was a Life Skills paraprofessional for two years previously. I enjoy teaching hands-on experiences and skills that will help my students in all aspects of their life! Any positive step, big or small, is a step worth celebrating. I enjoy parent input on goals and life skills you would like to see your child accomplish!
I went to Texas A&M Commerce and received a degree in Speech Communication and then got my alternative certifications in Special Education, EC-6, and ESL Supplemental. I sing and play guitar and love to watch Texas Rangers baseball. I look forward to the 2023-2024 school year and all the new ways to implement learning in different ways this year!
