Mabe, Courtney » Hello fellow PANTHERS!!!

Hello fellow PANTHERS!!!

My name is Courtney Mabe and this will be my 3rd year as a Life Skills/BAC teacher and a PANTHER!  I have worked with children since I was a child and I knew that this was my passion from a very early age. When I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, I was given the opportunity to work for Dallas County Juvenile Probation services and this started my love for behavioral intervention geared positions for children with special needs. When we moved to Quinlan in 2017,  I took that opportunity to explore, took a position in an educational/behavior setting, and found, what I think, is the perfect career for me! In this journey, my loving husband, 3 amazing kids, and 5 BIG and very hyper dogs, have supported me through it all!  Through this year, my students and I, will be focusing on understanding our strengths, learning how to show our passion and perseverance, and ultimately setting educational, as well as personal, goals, and seeing them through! I look forward to a great year of growth!
