About Me:

 

Hello!   My name is Eva Garza, and I will be the ESL Interventionist at Butler Intermediate. This will be my 3rd year at Quinlan ISD.  I was a classroom teacher for 5 years and an ESL Specialist for 18. This will be my 24rd year in education and I am excited to be back in the classroom working with students again.  I find so much joy in meeting families in the community, getting to know the students, and  working with the teachers to help students be successful life-long learners. 

 

I have been married to my husband, Leo, for 33 years and we  have three grown children, two daughters-Gabby and Victoria and one son-David.  I graduated from UTA with a bachelor's degree in Exercise, Health and Sports Studies and received my Teaching Certification from Texas A&M Commerce. 

 

Services I Provide:

As an ESL Interventionist I will be providing support for our Emergent Bilingual students in small groups and in the classroom. 

 

I am also part of the LPAC Committee at Butler Intermediate which meets to discuss services, progress, and testing accommodations for our Bilingual/ESL Learners.
