Welcome to the 23-24 school year! I am delighted to be your child's teacher and cannot wait to see their growth and success this year. Teaching is my passion and I truly love it. My students become my kids the minute they step foot in my classroom. I believe in parent-teacher communication. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. My Career
I have been a teacher in Quinlan for over 25 years. I am also a Quinlan graduate. I have taught at both Cannon and Butler. I have taught 1-3 grade, 4th-grade ELAR, Reading Recovery, Special Education self-contained, and Special Education resources. I have been a reading interventionist and a reading instructional coach. Currently, I am teaching third-grade math and sciencce. Any day I can teach is a good day! It's never been a job for me. Working with children has been a part of my life since I was a teenager, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. My motto is, "If my students fail, then I have failed." I am constantly learning new strategies and research that will help my students grow and learn. From the day they walk into my class, they are forever my kiddos. I love what I do!
