Welcome to Life Skills!

Hello! I am so excited to be joining Butler Intermediate as a Self Contained Special Education teacher. My name is Melanie Dutton and I have been teaching for 19 years. I grew up in Campbell, Tx and went to school in Commerce all of my life.  I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce and began teaching in Royse City ISD.  I have been married to Jeremy for 28 years and have a 23 year old daughter, Makenna. 

 

I enjoy going to the beach and river.  I love to travel, go camping, and riding side by sides.
