Welcome to my classroom!

My name is Amy McKnight and I will be the ELAR Co-Teacher in 4th grade at Butler Intermediate School. This is my 14th year of teaching and I have experience in General Education 2nd and 4th grade, and Special Education K-8th grade. I am currently getting my Masters degree in Special Education with a Diagnostician certification and should be completed in Summer 2024. 

I have been married 31 years to my high school sweetheart and we have two children ages 26 and 22. We have 6 rescue dogs that we love taking to the lake and playing outdoor activities with. Our lives are full.
